The Rio Del Mar Vineyard is just south of surfing mecca, Santa Cruz, Calif. This Pinot was made by two friends turned Napa Valley winemakers (Abner Wyman and Forster Meeks) as a passion project. These athletes have put the same dedication to excellence in this wine as they do surfing, skiing or golfing.

Tasting the wine: Fresh red plum, cherry cola, raspberry and blackberry. Fruity nose and delicate body, the wine just keeps on delivering as you let it open up in the glass.

Winemaking is just as you'd expect from these talented besties. Native yeast, 11 months in just 4 neutral barrels.
