With grapes harvested in the Saumur Champigny appellation bordering the Loire River, the vineyards average only 600 mm (23.6 inches) of rain per year, enough to avoid stress but excellent for developing intense flavors.

As an essential part of the Domaine De Rocheville philosophy, all grapes are certified Organic. The growing process involves maintaining traditional and sustainable farming methods. For example, the rows between the vines are seeded with grass to encourage the vine roots to reach further into the limestone-laden earth to strengthen them and protect against diseases.
Furthermore, the French growers have planted hedges strategically around the vineyards to promote biodiversity, develop protective insects, and ensure a perfect biological balance.

Light-bodied, with flavors of red fruits and spice, this Cabernet Franc goes well with cold white or red meats and cheese. A lively and pleasant wine incorporated with light tannins, the wine is best served at about 60°F.
· 2014 CHENIN BLANC, LOIRE: AOC Saumur
Creamy-bodied, hinting at bright white flower and minerality, this Chenin Blanc from Domaine de Rocheville recreates the long tradition of fine white wines grown in the “Cote,” the appellation that borders the part of the Loire River near the ancient Cathedral of Parnay.
